I recently purchased an X100. I like it pretty well and the more I learn, the more I enjoy it. I may implement some of your suggestions.

Re: Disqus to Google Spam Report via Chrome Extension?

This is
a nice idea for a real estate blog. I needed to, to satisfy my curiosity since I enjoy using Eye-Fi cards. That said, while it works I can't recommend the contraption since it is very delicate and prone to getting unplugged.

Going forward, the most satisfying result using Eye-Fi cards is with a "connected" camera like the new Canon G1X which has built-in controls for the card and an indicator to let you know images are actively uploading. I have a Fuji X100 and while the image quality is stunning, it is a hassle to keep waking the camera from sleep mode to continue uploading. The alternative is to keep the camera from going into sleep mode at all.

Re: Canon 7D + WFT-E5 + Eye-Fi Wifi SD Memory Card

awesome... do you have any follow up for this? I am very interested in trying this as well. the photos just automatically go from the 7D -> WFT-E5 -> USB extension -> Eye-fi card reader -> eye-fi card ? it seems odd that they would just end up there.

Re: Fuji X100: How to Add Leather Case & RRS Body Plate

this is good setup.. ihate to open my case when i want to use my tripod...

Yup, the lens cap does impede the flash but I use it infrequently enough that it isn't an issue. Removing it only takes a second and since there is a UV filter on the lens it remains pretty well protected.

Re: Fuji X100: How to Add Leather Case & RRS Body Plate

"The only downside I see to the lens cap is that it obscures the flash but it is easily removed".. Geez, you wont be able to take flash photos now while the lens cap is on.
